Did something the other day that I havn't done in a long, long, time. I bought an album because I thought the cover was cool. Back in my college days, we used to go the used record store and look around for hours, choose a few albums from groups we knew to buy, and then would pick up one or two from groups we never heard of. Usually, I would go with something because of the cover art. This led me to discovering Level 42 before they became big among others.
So, while tooling around Borders Tuesday, I came across an interesting looking CD by the group Adema entitiled "planets". Now to be honest, it was in sort of "galactic" looking writing and Adema probably reminded me of "Adama" from Battlestar Galactica. Anyhoo, they had the cd on a listening station, so I threw the headphones on. This group rocks. And when I say that, I mean that they are a good old fashined rock band that can kick ass, while making melodic, memorable tunes that run thru your head all day long.
Pick it up if you get a chance.
On a side note... the Tron game is finished and I have pictures to finish uploading. It turned out very, very well and looks almost new. make a comment | 0 comments left
