Of procrastination. As I type this, I am trying to find reasons to avoid this project I need to have done by the end of the weekend. I think the project will finally win out tonite. Once clear of this, my life will become a little better with the exception of one large project at work which has been hanging on like a monkey on my back. Anyhoo, then I can set out on putting the new look up for my big website I run. Everything is intertwined. And I am dreading it.
Not that you care but my Dayton Flyers have now won 9 in a row are 16-3 overall and are 8-0 in conference play leading the Atlantic 10 West. Big game this weekend against Xavier at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio (Xavier's Home Court). If we come out of that game with a win, there is no reason for us not to be ranked.
Snow's in the forecast for tonite. One can only hope it hits us hard. Put on those jammys backwards and inside out.
There I go stating the obvious again. I have been knocked out of commission for the last 3 days with a stomach virus. I'm not sure there is much worse an annoyance on earth than this. Here I sit... again, 3 days since this started and my insides are churning. Will it every go away? And I thought acid reflux was a PITA. After a while, you just get tired of sitting in the bed so you get up to do something, anything to relieve the boredom and then you realize why you are in bed in the first place. So, back you go to watch another showing of Changing Rooms or Ground Force on BBC America. It could be worse. I could be watching The View. *shiver* Honestly, I think this is the first time in a long while that I have taken back to back sick days from work.
Other exciting stuff. The WebCams are back online till I get bored with them again. Of note, my buddy Mike actually WROTE the program I am using! Very nice work indeed. I am most impressed. It's called Freeze Frame and it's a paired down and slicked up version of WebCam32 which I had been using for years. WebCam32 is so bloated with stuff I don't need. Mike's program is a much more logical choice. We have bantered about making it available via Windowstuff.com as donate-ware.
My Dayton Flyers are on a roll. They are currently 12-3 but have a number of road games ahead of them in the coming weeks. This is where they will be really tested. If they win against Temple (tomorrow), Massachusetts (Wednesday) and LaSalle (next Saturday), we have a shot of hitting the Top 25. Regardless, the Flyers are playing better than I thought they would this year.
Glenn Beck Radio Program & Random Thoughts... 1.09.2003

Radio Rules when it's done well. I have recently discovered the Glenn Beck program and have been quite amused. It's definitely a current events/political show but the guy has some good insights into the world and a sense of humor about it as well. See his website online at http://www.glennbeck.com
So I was wondering today, what makes you a Starbucks person over say a Au Bon Pain person. In other cities, select the coffee shop of your choice... Seattle's Best, Corner Bakery etc. What draws me into a Starbucks while I shun Au Bon Pain without ever setting foot inside their door. If you know the answer, let me know. I'm still struggling with it.
For you ICOT mods now reading this site since Ray posted the link, I was talking about Modifications to my new car below. Though, if you want to paypal me cash to change out my rear tail lights and turn signals, who am I to stop you. Tail Lights are $89 for the set, lights run about $40 a pair :)
Say hello to my new commuter car... a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. After 10 years of driving around by beater 94 Plymouth Colt 4 Door, we finally went first team and got something nice. Now, I am looking around for a few mods to add to it like clear rear tail lights and clear front turning signals to blend in better with the color of the car. Good luck to me!
